Born during the communist regime in Gdansk, I initially trained as an engineer before studying fine art. These shifting experiences have underscored her interests in performed materiality, embodied cognition and neurodiverse aesthetics.
In my practice, I use multimodal approaches combining sculptural objects with drawing, instructional scores, soundscapes and digital technologies. My participatory installations and projects explore imaginary overlaps, empathetic states, and connections between different bodies and spaces, human and non-human, physical and digital.

The book I contributed to Neuroaesthetics: A Methods-Based Introduction is now available online for free and will soon be available in print! It is aimed at both scientists and humanists at the beginning of their careers interested in this new discipline. It was a pleasure to co-write Unit 6 Overview: The Practice of Neuroaesthetics with Oana Teodora Papuc. I discuss the collaborative nature of problem-based learning in art-science projects, the opportunity for co-constructing knowledge and challenges such as varying ethical concerns. #neuroaesthetics #pbl#collaborativelearning #artscience #artresearch #palgrave #springernature
